My Opinion:

I really wanted to love this product but unfortunately it did nothing for my hair. I initially bought this cleansing conditioner to alternate with my staple shampoos on wash days, however each time I have used this conditioner I have had to shampoo my hair due to the fact that my hair didn't feel clean afterwards. The thick consistency of the conditioner made it difficult for me to work it into my scalp and the length of my hair therefore if I do manage to finish this conditioner I will not be purchasing it again.

Unplanned Wash Day

Pre Poo Mix: 1 part apple cider vingar, 2 parts water, 2 table spoons of aloe vera gel, I left this in my hair for 15- 20 mins then rinsed.

Shampoo: Used SM Moisture retention shampoo.

Deep Conditioned: Applied Aunt Jackies In Control Moisturiser for over an hour.

Finishing up: Towel dried my hair before wrapping a t-shirt around my hair to continue the drying process.

Styling: Applied African pride Shea butter leave in and sprayed Chi Silk Heat protectant and blow dried my hair using the tension method.

After the 1st section was complete (My ends need a trim)

Disclaimer: I hate drying my hair whether it be air drying or with a blow dryer. Lol

Once I was finished I put my hair in to a bun and tied a satin scarf, my hair was still a bit damp so i left it like this overnight.

Protective Style Series: The Low Bun

So I have recently been exploring my protective styling options and recently I rediscovered my love for buns. I prefer low buns to high buns because of the current state my nape is in, this allows me to wear buns and stop breakage at my nape.

Wash Day

Detangled: My hair was previously in braids, so I un did each braid and finger detangled.

Pre Poo: Applied Tressemme Naturals Smooth Conditioner to the lengths of my hair and avocado oil to my scalp.

Shampoo: Crème of Nature Argan oil shampoo
.
Deep Condition: Aunt Jackie's In Control Conditioner.

Air Dry: Once my hair was no longer dripping wet I wrapped a t-shirt around my head and let my hair air dry.

Finish off: I applied my African Pride Shea butter leave in and detangled my hair. I decided to braid my hair up over night.

Customising A Freestyle Closure.

I recently decided I wanted something a little different so instead of getting my usual middle part closure I got a freestyle closure.

On the left is a middle part closure.
and on the right is a free style closure.

I decided to go for a freestyle closure because I wanted some versatility to my closure rather than being restricted restricted to just a middle part, I can now have a middle part, a side part or wear it in a flipped over hairstyle.

How To:

I started off by parting the closure using a rat tail comb down the centre if the closure, I pulled the hair a part and used small clips to secure the part.

I then sprayed some water on to the closure to help mould my part.

Once the closure was dry I removed the clips and style.
I moved my wig to the side for a side part.

Whenever I want to change my part I will repeat this...
