Wash Day.

(1) I started off with a clay wash, I applied it focusing on my scalp and left it in my hair for about an hour.
(2) Once I rinsed it out I applied Aphogee 2 min reconstructor to my hair and left it on my hair for 10mins.

(3) After rinsing out the 2min reconstructor, I applied Aunt Jackie's conditioner and left it on my hair for a few hours.

(4) Rinsed out the conditioner and wrapped my hair an t-shirt and let my hair air dry.

(5) After an hour or so I took down the t-shirt and parted my hair into 4 sections, applied African Pride leave in and sealed with grape seed oil. I  then detangled my hair and applied Chi Iron guard heat protectant and blow dried my hair in a cool setting.

(6) I then put my hair in a bun and wrapped a scarf around it and went to bed.

(7) The next day I applied some more leave in conditioner and braided my hair up.

Organising My Product Stash

A year ago I decided I need to have organise my product stash, at the time my products were all over the place making it hard to find things when I needed them. After looking at storage ideas online I decided on the Antonius frame (see link here) along with some wired baskets from IKEA, when I first got the product home I wasn't too sure about it however once I had assembled it I changed my mind and thought yeah this could work. Lol!

My Old Product Storage

Fast forward a few months and a few extra products later the baskets no longer seem to work properly and the baskets have limited space within them. I have since purchased a cupboard where I will be storing my products.

My new product storage.

Disclaimer : I put this together by myself and I am very proud about it. Lol!

The Benifits of Aloe Vera.

I have been using Aloe Vera juice and gel for a while now and they have both become staples in my hair regime, I decided to add Aloe Vera juice to my regime because during the winter months my hair becomes very dry. So i have been adding it to my mouisturisers, however this particular product has many benefits.

So what are the beniefits of Aloe Vera?
  • Aloe Vera is known for its ability to provide proper hydration and moisture for hair strands
  • Aloe vera juice for hair are removing dandruff and treating seborrhea. Dandruff usually appears accompanying hair loss problem.
  • Aloe Vera can be used to restore hair and scalp to its natural condition without using additional chemical substances. A proper pH level will help the hair to maintain its ability to retain moisture.

Wash Day.

(1) I started off by applying a mix of rosemary infused EVOO, grapeseed oil and tea tree oil to my scalp for 3 hours.

(2) I then shampooed with diluted Shea mouisture shampoo. I tried to over shampoo my hair because I wanted to keep some of the oil on my scalp.

(3) Towel dried my hair and applied my Aunt jackies deep conditioner mixed with roux porosity to my hair and let it sit under a plastic cap for an hour.

(4) After rinsing out the conditions I wrapped my hair in an old t-shirt for a few hours.

(5) Once my hair was partially dry I applied my Shea butter leave in see review here and detangled my hair. I then continued to air dry my hair over night.

Once my hair was completely dry I braided up my hair and sewed down my wig.
