Wash Day.

After 2 weeks of being lazy I finally got round to washing my hair.

(1) I started off my clarifying my hair with my ORS shampoo.
(2) I then washed my hair with Hair one (see my review here)
(3) Applied coconut oil to my scalp and Aunt Jackies conditioner to my hair, I let this sit in my hair for about 1 and a half hours.
(4) Wrapped my hair in an old t shirt till my hair was partially dry.

After my hair was partially dry I applied my Darcy Botanicals leave in and Paul Mitchell's super skinny serum to my hair and tied a scarf around my edges and put my hair up in a pony tail.

Whilst my hair was air drying I realised that even after I cut off my ends they don't dry bone straight. My ends seem to dry curly.

Taming My edges Part 2

After trying two different edge control products and disliking them both I decided to try Eco styler gel, now Iv said in previous posts that I am not a fan of gel however this gel is not that bad. Once it has dried it does leave my hair a little bit crunchy but I don't get left with flakes.

Recently I have also been using Hairveda's whipped gelly, which I received as a sample from www.britishcurlies.co.uk with my most recent order.

I am currently wearing a full wig with a lace closure and to make my closure look more realistic I place it behind my hair line, leaving some hair in the front so that I can blend my hair with the closure.

I then use a soft brush to smooth out the product on my hair before tying a headscarf around my head and leaving it to dry.

Although I mainly use Ecostyler gel, I also still use the Dr Miracles edge control from time to time.

Directions of UseAfter shampooing, apply UltraHydration conditioner by massaging in from roots to ends. Gently comb to evenly distribute. Rinse. For dry hair leave-on for 10 minutes using plastic cap. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

My Opinion: Since purchasing this conditioner I have managed to use it on all of my wash days, I have used it as a pre shampoo treatment, to co wash and as a deep conditioner. As a co wash it failed due to the lack of slip the conditioner has however as a pre poo and deep conditioner it is a fantastic product, my hair is always left feeling soft and moisturised after using it.  This conditioner is inexpensive and to me it does the job, so this conditioner has defiantly become a staple for me. I will say that this product would be so much better if it came with a pump.

Random Wash Day (27/09/13)

I wasn't planning on washing my hair today but I did.

(1) Started by applying coconut oil to my scalp and Elasta Qp Soy conditioner to my hair and left it in for about 2 hours.
(2) Washed my hair with Komaza care shampoo mixed with tea tree oil (to help with my itchy scalp).
(3) Deep conditioned with Aunt Jackies under a plastic cap for and hour and rinsed.
(4)Wrapped my hair in an old t-shirt and left it on for about 45 mins.

Once my hair was partially dry I applied my Darcy Botanicals leave in and coconut nut oil to seal. I followed this by detangling my hair, I then let my hair to continue air drying over night.

The next morning I moisturised my hair with a Shea Butter mix and braided up my hair.

My current braiding pattern.

Hair Thoughts

So we are now in October and I'm trying to decide on whether I want to stretch my relaxer to December OR relax my hair at the end of this month.

At the moment I am not having any issues with my new growth because my hair is tucked away under my wig, but I'm a bit worried about the breakage that comes along with long relaxer stretches. To help prevent breakage I have been washing my hair every two weeks (occasionally every week.) and moisturising my hair and scalp, I hoping by doing this I can keep the breakage to a minimum.
